Residenze San Lazzaro
The design proposal stems from the desire to redevelop an existing fabrication area through an overall reorganization of the area by establishing mixed functions with numerous residential units, congruent with the site plan that will gradually be realized in the entire area.
Developed within the urban fabric, the project gives back a green park to the area, a hinge that reconnects it to the overall neighborhood, providing pedestrian and cycle routes that span the entire lot.
The former artisan sector is reclaimed with modern housing solutions and defined by the design of the curved terraces; their soft forms give an exclusive meaning to the entire residential lot. The choice to create a stepped building with large green terraces is dictated by the north-south orientation and the privileged view towards the hills.
The project is designed in energy class A4 and is characterized, in addition to the use of the most modern construction techniques and eco-sustainable materials, by the integration of private spaces for common use with a large public park. The park provides green spaces equipped with play structures and sensorial gardens. The two residential blocks will be equipped with common rooms and large common spaces, relax areas, play areas for children, and fitness areas.
